Why I think this is important
A Botticelli painting entitled “Young Man holding a Roundel” sold for $92.2 million at Sotheby’s auction house. “Historians believe it was painted in 1480 and features the likeness of a member of the Medici family.” Purchased by an Asian collector, Botticelli is best known for “The Birth of Venus” painting.
