Why I think this is important
Vincent Van Gogh is one of the most famous artists in history. His paintings have been purchased for millions of dollars. One painting, “Street scene in Montmartre (Impasse des Deux Frères and the Pepper Mill)” is up for auction. The painting had not been viewed in public since 1887, the year Van Gogh painted it.
