Why I think this is important

25 new movies added to the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress including “The Dark Knight,” “Grease,” “The Hurt Locker” and “Shrek.” Selections are based on movies of cultural, historical or aesthetic significance. Because of their designation on this list, the movies will be preserved under the terms of the National Film Preservation Act.
