Why I think this is important

A classic book for anyone who wants to learn more about the real world of finance. Written by one of the New Yorker’s longtime staff writers, this is a collection of a dozen or so essays that encompass currency exchange, cornering the stock market, insider trading, how conglomerates grow (and die), and others. A great example of how wonderful business writing can bring timeless lessons to life in vivid ways. I recommend to MBAs and post-MBAs routinely.
